Day 1 - Lesson 1
Day 1: So… You Believe in God. Now What?
Welcome! Whether you’ve recently made a decision to follow Jesus or you’re simply exploring what faith is all about, you’re in the right place.
Christianity isn't about being perfect, following a long list of rules, or "getting your life together." It's about knowing the One who created you, loves you, and has a plan for your life.
God didn’t invite you into a religion — He invited you into a relationship. And that relationship begins with Jesus.
Believing in Jesus isn’t the finish line — it’s the starting point of a brand-new life. The Bible tells us that salvation comes through faith, not through works (Ephesians 2:8–9). That means you don’t earn God’s love — you receive it.
In the Gospels, Jesus didn’t just call people to believe — He called them to follow Him. That’s what being a Christian means: trusting Jesus, learning from Him, and walking with Him daily.
Take a breath. You're not alone. And you don't need to know everything right now. The journey starts right here, right now — one step at a time.
Day 1 - Lesson 3
Pray This Simple Prayer
You don’t need fancy words to talk to God. He already knows your heart. Just be real, be honest, and invite Him into your life.
Here’s a simple prayer to guide you:
God, I believe in You.
I don’t understand everything, but I trust that You love me.
Thank You for sending Jesus to rescue me.
Help me take my next step.
I want to follow You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Take a breath. That was real. That was faith. Keep going — He’s walking with you.
Don't be afraid to expand that prayer. Be real. Be honest. Be open.
Day 1 - Lesson 5
Come Back Tomorrow
You’ve taken a powerful step today — and that matters. Faith isn’t built overnight; it grows one day, one prayer, one verse at a time.
Jesus never rushed His followers. He simply invited them to walk with Him. That’s what you’re doing right now.
Tomorrow’s focus: Who is Jesus, really?
Until then, know this: You are seen. You are loved. And God is just getting started with your story.
See you in Day 2!
Day 1 - Lesson 2
Reflect on These Scriptures
Take a moment to slowly read through these verses. You don’t need to analyze them — just let them speak to your heart. Read them more than once if you’d like.
John 3:16–17 (NIV)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through him.”
Romans 10:9 (ESV)
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved.”
Luke 9:23 (NLT)
“Then he said to the crowd,
‘If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way,
take up your cross daily, and follow me.’”
Day 1 - Lesson 4
Write Down Your Thoughts
Faith isn’t just about learning — it’s also about reflection. Taking time to think through your beliefs helps make them real in your life.
Use a notebook, journal, notes app, or even a voice memo. There’s no wrong way to process what God is doing in your heart.
Reflection Prompt:
“What do I believe about God — and what do I want to believe?”
Be honest. You don’t need to have all the answers. This is your space to think, question, and dream forward in faith.
