Day 3 - Lesson 1

Day 3: What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?

You’ve read about faith. You’ve read about Jesus. Now what?

For many people, “following Jesus” sounds like going to church or trying to be a good person. But the Bible paints a much deeper — and more freeing — picture.

Following Jesus means living a life in relationship with Him. It's not a checklist or a religion of rules. It's walking with Jesus, step by step, learning from Him, trusting Him, and allowing Him to shape your heart and your actions.

Jesus never promised it would be easy, but He did promise He would never leave you. Following Him means:

  • Turning from the ways of the world to walk in the ways of God
  • Trusting that His way is better than your own
  • Letting Him be both Savior and Lord — the one who rescues you and leads you

It’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out. Jesus didn’t call the perfect — He called the willing.

Following Jesus is about direction, not perfection. Keep moving toward Him.
