Reflect on These Scriptures

Read these verses slowly and think about what they teach you about spiritual growth.

John 15:4-5 (NIV)
"Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

Matthew 7:24 (NIV)
"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock."

Romans 12:2 (NIV)
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Each of these passages reminds us that spiritual growth comes from staying connected to Jesus, putting His words into action, and allowing Him to transform the way we think and live.
